ELTON HORN’s ADVICE ABOUT BICEPS
 
Advice from Elton Horn, Overall champion of South Africa in 2010.
 
    “Reduce the weight you’re using to first learn to get the feel in your biceps. The biceps is a small muscle and does not need a lot of weight to grow. Most people wanting good biceps, mostly beginners and intermediates, take too heavy and in the process turn biceps exercises into back, shoulders and even leg exercises, meaning they use too much assistance from other bodyparts. Secondly, the biceps is very likely to be overtrained because of its involvement in training other muscles, especially back and thus not allowed to recover. One solid biceps session per week is enough in most cases”.
